Your words carry power. This verse reminds us that when our declarations align with God’s will, they bring forth life and blessing. Eliphaz spoke these words with a wrong assumption about Job, but the principle stands true throughout Scripture: when you agree with God’s promises and declare them, you partner with Heaven to manifest His will on Earth.
Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that if we speak to the mountain and believe, it will move. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” So what are you speaking today? Words of faith or fear? Words of victory or defeat?
When you decree, do it based on God’s Word, not just your feelings. His promises never return void (Isaiah 55:11). Align your decrees with His truth, and watch Him establish them in your life.
